A standard installation will take 2-3 hours. All work should be completed inside the loft space including unwrapping the insulation from its packaging.

When the install team arrive they will go to the loft hatch to gain access into the loft space. They will carry the loft insulation in shrink wrapped packaging into the loft before unwrapping it to avoid unnecessary dust. Once inside the loft they will check for ventilation requirements and any potential fire hazards such as downlights or shower cables, these hazards will be addressed before rolling out the insulation. If required the insulation will be laid both in between the joists and then across the joists to ensure no condensation or damp problems can occur. They will use dust sheets on any area’s where they will be working. Once completed the team will clean any dust and debris created during the install making sure that your property is left in the best possible condition.
