MEES (Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard) was implemented by the government in 2018 to help reach carbon emission reduction targets. Your properties must have a valid EPC with a rating of ‘E’ or above. If not, you could face fines or enforcement action. Call us on 0333 358 3130 to find out more.

YES! From 1stApril 2020 continuing to rent a property which has an EPC rating of ‘F’ or ‘G’ is prohibited. Continuing to rent out non-compliant properties will result in fines or enforcement action.
